الاعتماد على البلاستيك في البيئات الحضرية: تحليل كمي لاستهلاك الأكياس البلاستيكية الناتج عن قطاع التجزئة وتقييم مخاطره البيئية في المناطق الساحلية الليبية

يُعدّ الاعتماد المتسارع على المواد البلاستيكية أحادية الاستخدام أحد أبرز التحديات البيئية التي تميّز النظم الحضرية، إلا أن الأدلة الكمية على مستوى المدن في المناطق النامية لا تزال محدودة بشكلٍ ملحوظ. تقدّم هذه الدراسة أول تقييم تجريبي لاستهلاك الأكياس البلاستيكية وانعكاساته البيئية في مدينة زليتن، ليبيا. أظهرت البيانات المجمعة من 242 متجرًا للبيع بالتجزئة أن الاستهلاك السنوي يبلغ نحو 41.8 مليون كيس بلاستيكي، بتكلفة إجمالية تُقدَّر بحوالي 2.08 مليون دينار ليبي. كما تبيّن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في معدلات الاستهلاك تبعًا لفئات حجم المتاجر (p < 0.001)، حيث ساهمت المتاجر الكبيرة بشكل غير متناسب في إجمالي الاستهلاك. وكشفت النتائج عن وجود ارتباط إيجابي قوي بين استهلاك الأكياس وتكلفتها (r = 0.722, p < 0.01)، مما يشير إلى علاقة طردية مباشرة بين العبء البيئي والتكلفة الاقتصادية. وأظهرت الأنماط المكانية أن الاستهلاك يتركّز في المناطق ذات الكثافة التجارية العالية، مما يعكس التأثير البنيوي للنظم الحضرية على أنماط استخدام المواد. ومن المرجّح أن تسهم هذه المستويات المرتفعة من الاستهلاك في زيادة تراكم اللدائن الدقيقة (الميكروبلاستيك)، وانسداد شبكات التصريف، وتعاظم مخاطر التلوث الساحلي. وفي ظل غياب تدخلات موجهة وعلى مستوى النظم، من المتوقع أن يتفاقم الاعتماد على البلاستيك في السياقات الحضرية سريعة النمو، مما يؤدي إلى تضاعف كلٍ من التدهور البيئي والتكاليف الاقتصادية.
