قياس نسبة امتزاز أيونات النحاس (II) من المحاليل المائية باستخدام مسحوق أوراق النيم (Azadirachta indica) كمادة ماصة حيوية

توضح هذه الدراسة إمكانية استخدام أوراق شجرة النيم (NLP) Neem Leaf Powder لإزالة أيونات النحاس (II) Cu من المحاليل المائية. أجريت تجارب امتزاز متقطعة مع تغيير بعض الظروف الخاصة بمعايير التجربة، مثل درجة الحموضة ما بين (2 و 6) وجرعة المادة المازة. جففت أوراق النيم وطحنت الى مسحوق بحجم يتراوح بين 90 و 100 مايكروميتر. خلطت جرعات معروفة من مسحوق اوراق النيم (1.0، 1.5، 2.0، 2.5، 3.0، جم/لتر) مع تركيز ثابت لأيونات النحاس (II) Cu قدره 100 ملجم/لتر لمدة 5 ساعات. في هذه الدراسة أزيلت أكبر كمية من ايونات النحاس عند الجرعة المثلى من مسحوق اوراق النيم البالغة 1.5 جم/لتر، والرقم الهيدروجيني 3، عند درجة حرارة الغرفة. في ظل هذه الظروف المعملية، أزيلت أيونات النحاس بنسبة 73.09% من المحلول. تهدف هذه الدراسة بشكل اساسي الى دراسة امكانية امتزاز النحاس من الماء بواسطة مواد حيوية صديقة للبيئة، حيث تبين النتائج إمكانية استخدام مسحوق أوراق شجرة النيم كمادة ماصة حيوية لإزالة أيونات النحاس. وتعد هذه التقنية فعالة ورخيصة الثمن وصديقة للبيئة، ويمكن تطويرها لاحقا لإزالة معادن ثقيلة أخرى من مياه الصرف الصحي.
