The publication of this issue comes at a time when reliable scientific knowledge is increasingly essential for addressing complex and rapidly evolving environmental challenges at local, regional, and global scales. Sustainable management of natural resources, water and food security, soil degradation and desertification, pollution, waste management, climate change, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem protection are among the pressing issues that require scientifically sound evidence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective integration of research with policy and practice.In fulfilling its scientific mission, the Journal remains committed to publishing original research articles, applied studies, and scholarly reviews that demonstrate methodological rigor, scientific integrity, and meaningful contributions to knowledge or practice.
